Claim Executive Various Locations As a Claims Executive at Marsh & McLennan Agency, you will be the one customers and colleagues go to for coverage opinions and expert knowledge as it relates to matters involving claims. Whether it’s resolving client coverage and claims issues through analyzing information, reviewing pertinent documents, researching policy language and case law, pooling opinions from other experts in the business or facilitating recommended strategies, you are focused on negotiating a win-win solution. To thrive in this role, you will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the insurance industry and a good working knowledge of claims handling. While you don’t need a P&C License to be considered for this position, you must be willing to obtain within the first 13 weeks. Ideal candidates will also have an insurance designation (ARM, AIC, CIC, CPCU, etc.), demonstrate equivalent knowledge in those curriculums or that you are currently working toward achieving same and express a commitment to continuing education. Here’s what you can expect in this role: Working closely with our producers/account executives and managers in our mutual effort to retain clients with superior customer service. Being available to assist producers/account executives and managers in their marketing and prospecting efforts to obtain new business. Working with Risk Control Consultants to further our efforts to more fully integrate claims management and loss control initiatives and to educate our clients on the benefits of this integration.   Developing solid action plans for our clients to control their total cost of risk. Providing special training or seminars/workshops for clients as needs are identified. Serving as a mentor to claims technicians and assist with the organization, skills and competency of their workflow. Providing daily direction and training to assist with their future development. Meeting with clients and or carriers/risk control in order to discuss issues, resolve problems, make recommendations and discuss carrier services that will be provided. Working to build a strong relationship between the carrier and the client to achieve positive outcomes – all while striving to maintain strong relationships between carriers and MMA Mid-Atlantic.
